Ballantyne and Company, Ltd., to produce water for the central heating system in the company’s new building. The well was producing water at about 400 gallons a minute throughout the night as part of a continuity test to prove the well The water swirled well out into the roadway making a fast stream as it flower northwards towards the Cashel street intersection. It will be shut off early this morning to enable the demolition firm of Ryan Bros, to begin the demolition of part of the single storey frontage at 7 a.m. The demolition will make way for a new five-storey building on the site.
