Gaol For Burglary In City

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 13. Charles Hikana Barrett, aged 29, a slaughterman, was sent to prison for six months to be followed by 12 months’ probation when he appeared before Mr M. B. Scully, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Wellington today for sentence on a charge of breaking and entering a house in Christchurch between January 12 and January 14, 1963. Barrett earlier pleaded guilty.
