TRUCK HIT BY TRAIN

Motorist Has Lucky Escape (From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, Jan. 12. The driver of a light truck, John Waller, a farmer of Kamaka, escaped serious injury when his vehicle was struck by a goods train from Otira at the Greymouth end of the Cobden bridge, at 2.15 a.m, on Saturday. The truck which was struck in the middle, was severely damaged.
