Henderson three for 61) beat Burnham 74 (C. Heslop seven for 32, B. Doak three for 30) by 103 runs on the first innings. Leeston 195 for seven (M. Fleming 65, R. Boal 46; I. Reesby (four for 43) drew with Dunsandel 144 for one (W. Scott 61 not out, I. Chamberlain 66 not out; R. Percy one for 22). Weedons 190 for eight (J. Meyer 81 not out, C. Tilson 48; W. Flecken five for 41, T. McGlinchy two for 13) drew with Lincoln 147 for four (T. McGlinchy 36, M. Hatohard 60 not out). Points.—-Leeston 44, Burnham 43, Dunsandel 40, Lincoln 34, Irwell 29, Southbridge 24, Weedons 20. Beacon Smashed.-i-A pedestrian crossing warning beacon in Moorhouse avenue, outside the railway station, was demolished when it was struck by a car driven by David Barry Campbell, aged 20, of 13 Wades avenue, on Saturday evening. No-one was injured.
