Tuhoe’s Fish Cargo Sold

The balance of Ute Tuhoe’s blue cod and groper cargo was sold in barely two hours on Saturday morning at Lyttelton. It was the third day on which the chartered linefishing vessel offered its fish to the public at the wharf.

The Tuhoe put in to Lyttelton on Thursday morning with more than three tons of fish from the Mernoo Bank aboard. Following a fair weather report, the Tuhoe sailed for the fishing grounds again yesterday afternoon.
