Seymour To Miss N.Z.

At least one member of the South African cricket team will not come on to New Zealand when the Australian portion of the tour has been completed.

In a letter received yesterday by “The Press,’’ the baggage-master and scorer with the team, Mr Mitchell McLennan, said that “the only member of the side who will not tour New Zealand is, as far as I am aware, M. A. Seymour.”

Seymour is the team’s leading off-spinner but he should not be missed too much as the younger of the two brothers, D. B. Pithey, has been developing very promisingly with this type of bowling.
