U.S. Air Force Visitor

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. January 7. The Vice-Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force. General William F. McKee, will visit New Zealand on January 19. R.N.Z.A.F. headquarters announced today.

General McKee, accompanied by his wife, will arrive at the RN.Z-AT. Station, Ohakea, in a C 135 aircraft on January 19. and will leave for Australia on January 21. During his visit General McKee will call on the United States Ambassador, the Minister of Defence (Mr Eyre),, the Chief of Air Staff (Air Vice-Marshal G. Morison), and the New Zealand Air Board.

General McKee has been Vice-Chief of Staff since July, 1962. His post-war appointments have included those of commander, Air Force Logistics Command. vice-com-mander at Logistics Command, and assistant ViceChief of Staff.
