GIFT OF HOUSE
Mrs Kennedy Accepts (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) PALM BEACH (Florida), Dec. 27. Mrs Jacqueline Kennedy yesterday accepted as a gift a century-old home in Marrakesh, Morocco, which she plans to use on holidays. A spokesman for Princess Lalla Aicha, of Morocco said the widow of the late President accepted the gift of King Hassan of Morocco, brother of the princess, during a friendly two-and-a-half-hour conversation with the princess in the home where Mrs Kennedy and her children are spending the holidays in Palm Beach. Mrs Kennedy may make a trip to Morocco with her children some time next (northern) autumn, he said. She stayed in a similar home in the “old city” area of Marrakesh during her trip abroad last year. The home is built of stone, and has a servants’ residence, garage, stables and gardens.
