Coal Contract Sought

A central Queensland coal mining company is negotiating for a £2,500.000 contract to supply French steelworks interests with a rare type of coal over the next five years. The company is Cambria Collieries Pty., Ltd., of Bluff, 186 miles from Gladstone, and it is seeking to send 100,000 tons of semi-anthracite coal a year to France.
