Ocean Race To Akaroa

Light variable southerly winds made progress slow in tlie ocean race for keelers of the Banks Peninsula Cruising Club from Lyttelton to Akaroa wharf yesterday. The lighthouse keeper at Akaroa heads reported the yachts making very slow progress at dusk with slight likelihood of many berthing until late at night.
