MR DICK TO LEAVE N.Z.

WELLINGTON, Dec. 27. Mr Gavin Colquhoun Dick, British Trade Commissioner in Wellington, leaves New Zealand at the end of his three-year tour of duty on January 1, 1964. He is flying to Sydney with Mrs Dick and their two daughters to join the Oriana for his voyage to Britain. Mr Dick will be succeeded as British Trade Commissioner in Wellington by Mr Edwin John Lindley, who is expected to arrive about January 24. Mr Lindley was born in 1927 and joined the British Ministry of Labour in 1948 He went to the Board of Trade in 1950 where he served in various departments until 1962 when he was transferred to the Ministry of Science.
