Four Hurt When Car Hits Pole

Four young men were injured when the car they were in hit a power pole in Marshland road at 2.45 a.m. yesterday.

Mr R. Luscombe, of 295 Hills road, suffered head and leg injuries. Mr A. M. Daw, of 17 Clearbrook street, suffered arm and leg injuries. Both were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital where their condition was later reported to be satisfactory. Mr R. F. Carr, of 55 Aylesford street, and Mr R. Geary, of 383 Hills road, were both treated in the casualty department and discharged.
