Beach Patrols Appointed
Paid patrolmen have been appointed by a special sub-committee of 1 the Canterbury Surf LifeSaving Association to patrol beaches during the | Christmas school holidays. They are: Waimairi Beach, P. Davies; North Beach, C. i Tremewan; New Brighi ton. T. Jayti South Brighton, B. Graham; Sumner, R. McDowell: Taylor’s ; Mistake, J. Stead. j The patrolmen will patrol a flagged area on each of the six beaches between 9 a.m. and 5 p m. on week days from December 23 to January ' 31. The usual club patrols I will act during the weeki ends.
