Naval Rating Badly Hurt

AUCKLAND. December 16. A naval rating off H.M.N.Z.S. Otago, which arrived in Auckland on Sunday, was seriously injured when he fell between the siding and a moving train at the Penrose railway station late this afternoon. He is John William Adam, aged 21. He was admitted to Middlemore Hospital with internal injuries. He was attempting to board the train when he fell. His condition tonight was fair.
