CAUGHT IN BUMPER
Child Dragged li Miles
(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, December 12. Her dress tangled in the back bumper of her father’s car, a three-year-old girl was dragged one mile and a quarter along a road near Taihape today before her dress tore and fell free. She is Wendy Ransom, who is now in Taihape Hospital suffering from cuts and abrasions. Her father and a passenger in the car were not aware of the child’s plight.
Theft from Car.—A transistor radio, valued at £3O, was stolen from an unlocked parked car in Christchurch on Tuesday night
