(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 12 The desire far uniformity could not be allowed to oveo ride public interest, said the Shops Exemption Tribunal (Mr H. J. Thompson, S.M > in Auckland yesterday when announcing his refusal of an application by the New Zealand Retail Hardware Association. It had asked for the revocation of exemptions permitting 12 handymen stores in Auckland to sell hardware items on Saturday mornings.
