Rail Strike In Paris

(N Z.P A.-Reuter—Copyright) PARIS, Nov. 28. French railway services returned to normal early today after a 34-hour strike which affected travel over three days. The strike, in protest against Government wagefreezing. lost much of its effect in Paris when the Army organised a shuttleservice of trucks which carried 10,000 people. Other travellers used personal “beat - the - strike" methods developed during previous stoppages.

Australian Customs officers seized 2210 transistor radios—most of them hidden in ships—during 1962-1963 Reuter.
