THE ANNUAL ROSE SHOW of the Canterbury Horticultural Society was held yesterday in Latimer Hall. From left are Mrs L. A. Bennett, Dr. D. M. Mcllroy, and Mrs R. A. Young. The rose in the middle, Silver Lining, grown by Dr. Mcllroy, was judged the best in the show and won the Viking Trophy.
