Indoor Soccer: Tourney AH the major soccer clubs, in Christchurch, with the exception of Western, have entered for the indoor series at Cowles Stadium, starting in January. . ■ , . “Westerns decision not to enter the competition is a major disappointment," said Mr V. Smith, a member of the organising committee. "However, the response has been extremely good, and we will have 18 clubs competing." The series will be played on three nights—Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday—and soccer will have two of these; Monday and Wednesday, with women's Indoor basketball. The clubs which have entered are:— Major League (to be played on Mondays): City. New Brighton, Technical Old Boys. Riccarton. Rangers. High School Old Boys, Shamrock, Nomads. Under JO (Tuesday): City. New Brighton, Technical Old Boys, Rangers. Shamrock. Nomads, Hornby, Celtic, Shtrley Boys’ High School. Shirley Boys' High School Old Boys. Minor League (Wednesdays): University. Police. Wanderers. Overseas Carpet Factory (Wainoni), Wlgram, Waterside. Hornby, Shirley Boys' High School Old Boys. New Clubs to the indoor series are Waterside. Wanderers. Police. Overseas Carpet Factory and University. The organisers have decided that players who have played in more than three senior outdoor matches in the Premier or First Division will not be eligible for the under 20
