Ammunition Sales Inquiry
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 19. An inquiry by the Trade Practices and Prices Commission into a complaint by a Balclutha retailer, Wilson Elliott, Ltd., alleging that Ammunition House. Ltd., Wellington, had refused to make further supplies of 12-gauge shotgun ammunition directly available to him because he sold at reduced prices to certain bulk purchase customers was held today. No order was matje by the commission, which comprised Messrs S. T. Barnett (chairman). F. F. Simmons, and J. R. Dench.
