APPEAL TO PRESIDENT

(N.Z. Press Association) NARA (Japan), Nov. 13. An exerted student carrying a fruit knife in his pocket leapt in front of the West German President. Dr. Lubke, when he visited Nara today. The student, shouting “take me back to Germany,” was seized by Japanese police bodyguards. The student did not touch the President. Police said he planned to cut his own finger in a gesture of appeal.
