BERLIN CONVOY
No Test Of Intentions (NX Press Assn/—Copyright) BERLIN, November 7. The United State® Army today sent a new Berlinbound convoy along the autobahn through East Germany, but it represented no test of Russian intentions, the British United Press reported. Russian border guards passed the small convoy of 22 men to 10 lorries quickly through the Marienborn check-point, on the EastWest German border, 110 miles from Berlin. It passed through in 20 minutes, the Army said. Passengers to such small convoys have never dismounted to be counted and they did not today. Therefore its swift passage gave no indication whether the Russians were planning new harassment of Allied
convoys, B.U.P. said. Western officials said larger Allied convoys would be sent out to test Russian intentions.
