DEATH OF DJUANDA
Chief Minister Of Indonesia (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) DJAKARTA, Nov. 6. The Indonesian Chief Minister, Dr. Djuanda Kartawidjaja, collapsed and died of a heart attack in Djakarta today. the Associated Press reported. He was attending the opening of a new hotel in the capital. His personal physician was called to the scene and applied artificial respiration without success. Mourning has been declared throughout the country. The body will be buried later today at the Kaliwata war cemetery, and President Soekarno will lead the burial ceremony. Dr. Djuanda, aged 52, left his wife, four daughters, and a son. He was a Moslem, known to be an anti -Communist, and had held several posts in Indonesian Cabinets since Indonesia proclaimed her independence in 1945.
