Sales and profits of ail subsidaries of Rex Consolidated, Ltd., Auckland hardware and garment group, in the six months to September 30, were higher than in the corresponding period of last year, the chairman, Mr L. N. Ross, says in the interim report The forward order position is good, he says. Directors have declared a steady interim dividend of 4 per cent, payable on November 20. Shares become ex dividend on November 14. Total dividend last year was raised from 8 per cent to 9 per cent. Group profit of £44.753 in the year to March 31 was earned at 20.9 per cent on average funds and 24.1 per cent on capital.
