Stronger Than Ever
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) PHILADELPHIA, Oct 31. Nuclear weapons in the United States arsenal had doubled in the last three years, President Kennedy said yesterday. In addition, combat-ready army divisions had been increased 45 per cent procurement of troop-carrying aircraft by 175 per cent and special guerrilla and counterinsurgency forces increased by 500 per cent. , “America is stronger than ever before and the possibilities of peace are brighter than ever before,” he said.
