Teams leading in egg production at the end ’of the eighth month of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club's laying trial are:— Six Bird Teams.—Australorps, E. G. Wood (Leeston), 1203 eggs; White Leghorns, R. J. Thom (Christchurch), 1384; any other variety, C. M. Goodman (Nelson), 1165. Twenty Bird Team*.—Australorps, A. V. Christianson (Timaru), 3409 eggs: White Leghorns, Mrs A. V. Christianson (Timaru), 3966.
Highest egg scores for the last month of 28 days:—Six bird teams, Mrs D. F. Goiley (Oamaru), White Leghorns, 162 eggs: 20 bird teams, H. G. Sugden (Christchurch), White Leghorn*. 401.
