C.W.L. Birthday Party
The president of the Catholic Women's League of the Diocese of Christchurch (Mrs J. R. Fahey) welcomed members and friends at the league’s twenty-seventh birthday party, held recently. A programme, arranged by Mrs Joan Davies, included items by the following:—Mrs Molly Hall (musical monologues), Miss Diana Lancaster (vocal solos). Miss Lyn Tregurtha (pianoforte solos); Miss Heather Reed (vocal solos), Mr Desmond Pryke (vocal solos), and the league choir (choral numbers), conducted by Mrs Davies. Accompanists were Mesdames R. Boswell, Mary Buchanan, and 1 Davies.
