RUN OVER BY CAR

Man Slightly < Hurt CNZ Press Association) DUNEDIN. Oat. 28. Mr K. Jarvis, aged 34, of Anderson’s Bay, Dunedin, and Ms wife selected a sheltered spot in which to sunbathe at the Warrington beach reserve north of Dunedin yesterday afternoon. Soon after 2 pjn., a car buret through some lupins into the clearing and one wheel ran across Mr Jarvis’s back. The car was slowed considerably by the lupins and was barely moving when it ran over him. The give in the undergrowth on which Mr Jarvis was lying absorbed much of the weight of the car and he was not hurt, apart from slight abrasions to bis back.
