STANDING ON ITS HEAD.—This big truck and trailer skidded during a heavy rain storm near Pinole, California, and crashed through the heavy cement guard rail. The chain which connected the trailer to the truck kept it from rolling over. The trailer lies on its side on the bridge. The driver suffered a broken wrist and multiple contusions.
