Busy Time For Trainers

Several Canterbury trainers and drivers will travel extensively later thia week to fulfil engagements at the Greymouth and Oamaru meetings. D. G. Jones and F. E. Newfield and one or two ether trainers and drivers* will travel by rail-ear for the first night of the Greymouth Trotting Club’s spring meeting tonight They will return home on Friday and travel on an aircraft to the Oamaru meeting on Saturday. After the last race they will be flown direct to Greymouth for the final night of the Greymouth meet 1 n g. They will return home on Sunday and travel by road to the second day of the Oamaru meeting on Monday.
