Garage Worker Burned

(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI, Oct. 22. A garage employee of Weston's Motors, Ltd., Whangarei, was taken to the Whangarei Hospital about 10.35 a m. today after a fire in the garage oil store. When the fire began in the small store close to 500 gallons of oil. the employee. Thomas Alfred Howard Gough, aged about 20, rushed out with his clothes alight, but he and others beat the flames out. Gough was taken to the Whangarei Hospital with burns to his left hand and an ankle. Damage was extensive.
