Function For Aged At Lyttelton

Lyttelton’s senior citizens were entertained at a social function in the Lyttelton Workingmen’s Club on Tuesday afternoon. The function was arranged by the newly-formed Lyttelton Voluntary Service. Items were provided by the Lyttelton Women’s Institute. Two guests, Messrs J. Norris and F. Foreman, were presented with birthday gifts by Sister M Cheyne (Nurse Maude district nurse for Lyttelton). Mr G. Lester thanked the Mayoress (Mrs J. B. Collett) and organisers.
