HOKITIKA WATER

Fluoridation Intended (N.Z. Press Association) HOKITIKA, October 23. The Hokitika Borough Council last night unanimously confirmed by special order a resolution that the council implement the fluoridation of the town’s water supply and that the works committee be instructed to go into ways and means, with a view to having the work allowed for in next year’s estimates. The council called for objections and other comment from the public. Six objections were received and two ratepavers commended the council on its action.
