Forecast:— Canterbury.—Moderate variable winds, northeasterlies predominating about the coasts and northwesterlies inland; partly cloudy and warm. Buller and Westland.—Moderate northerly to westerly winds: cloudy, with some scattered drizzle at times: temperatures mild. Marlborough and Nelson.—Moderate northwesterly winds, strong in exposed places about the Sounds; cloudy, with scattered drizzle areas soon clearing about the Sounds; elsewhere fine; temperatures mild.
