Lunch-hour Dancing

For two hours on Monday 70 young people twisted and jived to a red-coated dance band during their lunch hour on the roof of Hay’s, Limited. The initial reaction of most of those who participated in this experiment, the idea of which began in Auckland, was highly favourable. The lunch-hour dance w® continue for a month, until the floor is required for other purposes over the Christmas period.
