Pay IncreMe.— Employees covered by Hie New Zealand Life Assurance Agents’, Canvassers’, and Collectors’ Union have been granted an increase in the minimum wage rate under a new award. The new minimum rate is £l2 a week, an increase of Ils 2d. The award came into force on October 18. Xt includes alterations in the rates of a number of expense allowances for employees.
