Rabbit Control In Taranaki (N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Oct. 21. October 21. It has srtiill not been decided whether Taranaki is to have rabbit boards. The Minister of Agriculture (Mir Tailboys) said in New Plymouth today that discussions between the Rabbit Destruction Council and the Taranaki Counties’ Association were still in progress. The chairman of the Taranaki Counties’ Association, Mir L. A. Alexander, said tonight that the association had not yet received a reply from the council on the association’s suggestion that it would be prepared to operate a destruction scheme under the council’s direction. He said the last discussions between the council and the association took place about a year ago and it was at least two years since Mr Talboys had discussed rabbit control in Taranaki with the associate on.
