Two Flats Sold For £6150
A double-unit block of flats, both vacant, at 168 Fendalton road was sold for £6150 at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr N. H. McC’ostie. The fiats are of brick, with a slate roof. The initial bid was £5500. There were six bids of £lOO, and two of £25.
The downstairs flat has a living room. kitchenettedinette. bedroom, bathroom, and dining room. The upstairs flat has a living room, two bedrooms, kitchenette, and bathroom.
There is also a double garage on the section of 30.1 perches. A cottage at 236 Bealey avenue was sold for £1370. The property was offered on account of the estate of Kathleen Teresa McNamara by Mr J. Hutchinson.
The house, on a section of 10.2 perches, has four main rooms, kitchenette, and bathroom.
