Drainage Board Contracts

A tender of £32,942, the lowest of six, by C. L. Cox, Ltd., has been accepted by the Christchurch Drainage Board for the second section of the Riccarton interceptor sewer extension project. Other tenders were:—J. C. Haworth, £34,281; Waddell Construction, Ltd., £37,514; Rush Construction Company. Ltd., £37,550; E. M. Hobson, Ltd., £38,022; Moore Construction (Christchurch), Ltd., £44,798

The board has also accepted a tender of £1074 by P Mullan for the Hollows drain piping in Kellys road. This was the lowest of four tenders.
