F.O.L. Support For Party (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 22. Mr T. E. Skinner, president of the Federation of Labour, announced today that he would speak on the same platform as the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Nordmeyer), in the Auckland Town Hall on November 21. Mr Skinner, a Labour member of Parliament from 1946-49 and president of the Auckland Trades Council, said he believed this would be the first time an F.O.L. president had spoken on the same platform in support of the party’s leader.
