Passenger Drivers Granted Wage Rise

An increase of 13s a week to the minimum wage for employees covered by the New Zealand Passenger Transport Drivers’ Union has been granted to a new award. The new rate is now £l4 15s a week. The award covers all districts except the area within a 25-mile radius of Auckland. It came into force on September 28.
