Famous Artists Aid Russell

Fifty international artists have promised paintings which will be sold in aid of the Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation announced last month. They will be shown at Woburn Abbey, the home of the Duke of Bedford, during the last week of October. Among the artists are Reg Butler, Lynn Chadwick, Marc Chagall, Jean Guyard, Ben Nicholson, Edouard Pignon, Marisol and Alexander Calder. The paintings are worth an estimated total of £50,000.
