N.Z. HISTORY SYLLABUSES
Historical Assoc. Study History syllabuses in New Zealand are to be studied by a special sub-committee of the Canterbury Historical Asssociation, which will make recommendations to the universities entrance board of the University Grants Com■mittee. This was announced the annual meeting of the association. The syllabuses are due for review in 1964, and the association hopes to gather the ideas of local leaohens into concrete recommendations.
The meeting elected the following officers:—,
President, Mr C. J. Colbert; vice-president, Mr I. J. Catanach; secretary, Mr J. E. Cookson; committee, Miss S. Mann, Mr N. Morris, and Mr D. E. Wood.
