Business Activity
The value of cheques cleared a key indicator of business activitytotalled £ 594.7 m in the four weeks ended September 25, according to the monthly press release from the New Zealand Bankers’ Association. This figure shows an increase of 18 per eent on the comparable 1962 figure. The August figure was up 19 per eent on the August, 1962, figure.
