U.S. Officer At Whenuapai
(NJ!. Press Association) i AUCKIaAND, Oat. 10. A United States Air Force officer, Major A. T. Waaland, has joined the staff of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Command and Staff School at Whenuapai on a two-year exchange posting. Major Waalanri was formerly on the staff at the Maxwell Air Force Base Officers’ School in Alabama. Two officers from the Royal Australian Air Force are on a two-year exchange posting to Whenuapai. They are Flight Lieutenant W. B, Hawkins, who is officer commanding the aircraft servicing flight, and Flight Lieutenant R. J. Smith, a Hastings pilot.
