No Amendment Discussed
(NZ. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Sept. 26. A possible amendment to the Manapouri and Te Anau Development Bill had not been discussed either by the Cabinet or caucus, the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said today. The Nature Conservation Council has recommended that the minimum lake levels be decreased by three feet from those specified in the legislation. Mr Holyoake said he did not know whether any amendment had to be made.
