SPRING FLOWER SHOW
Lyttelton Results
The Lyttelton Horticultural Society’s two-day spring flower show ended at Lyttelton last evening.
There was a surprising number of entries in spite of bad weather, but the quality of spring bulbs was not quite up to the usual standard. Mrs L. F. Luxton won three trophies—Captain D. N. MeLeish’s trophy for most points in the open class, Mrs W. B. Stevenson’s trophy for most points in the decorative section and .J. D. Bundy Memorial Cup for most points in the cut flowers section. Mrs D. Buckley won the premier award in the open section. In the children's section, Robert Luxton (over 12 group) and Ann Morse (under 12 group) won Mrs E. Harvey's trophy. Open Class.—Mrs D.
