N.Z. Petroleum Premium Issue
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 12. New Zealand Petroleum Exploration Company, Ltd, has announced a three-for-10 cash issue of 5s shares at a premium of 5d each. Last reported sale of the existing shares was on September 11 at 4s Bd. In Wellington today buyers quoted 4s 6d, sellers 5s 3d. The company has been advised by its American attorneys that the registration statement has been accepted by the Securities and Exchange Commission and is effective from September 12, 1963. The issue will be on holdings at September 17, 1963. Applications close on October 11. Hunter Douglas Profit Down Consolidated net profit of Hunter Douglas, Ltd, Sydney, aluminium processors, fell by £65,085, or 29.4 per cent, to £156.220 in the year ended June 30. Dividend is held at 10 per cent with a final 5 per cent.
Profit, which is after tax, £114,340 (down £5930) and depreciation, £84,267 (up £4890), is equal to 11.4 per cent on ordinary capital against 16.01 per cent in 1962.
Farrier-Walmak Div.—FarrierWaimak, Ltd, Christchurch holding company, have recommended a final ordinary dividend of 7 per cent payable October 15; ex dividend October 7. '—(PA.)
