WELLINGTON, Sept. 12. The withdrawal of Cardigan Bay lace yesterday afterncon has reduced the number of New Zealand horses in the airlift from Wellington to Melbourne on September 18 to four. After the New Zealand Cup he was scheduled to return to Melbourne tor the InterDominion Champ tondidps in February and March. Mrs Deen this week inserted an advertisement in a

Sydney trotting journal. The advertisement said there were five vacancies on a flight from Sydney to Christchurch on October 28. Cardigan Bay was booked with Qantas to leave Sydney on that date.
