Three Masters Retiring

A total of 100 years’ service to ChristxJhiurch Boys’ High School has been recorded by three masters who tendered their resignations to the school’s board of governors yesterday. All will retire on January 31, 1964. The three are Mr L. M. Kissel, head of the English department (40 years), Mr F. A. Wicks, head of the mathematics department <4O years), and Mr E. B. Read, careers adviser (20 years). All three were very re* spected members of the school’s staff and the last of the really long-serving masters, said the headmaster (Mr C. F. S. Caldwell). Several board members, and many hundreds of old boys would remember their teaching with gratitude. The board received the resignations with regret.
